Seán established Sean P. Matthews Insurances in 1986 and has been providing advice to clients on all things Insurance, Pensions, Mortgages and Investments for over 38 years.
Seán brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his clients and finds the correct solutions to match their needs. He is a Qualified Financial Advisor and Certified Insurance Practitioner.
Chris Joined Seán P. Matthews Insurances in April 2021, having worked in Davy for 3 and a half years prior to this. In 2021 Chris obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, and has a Masters in Strategic Management.
Chris, like Seán, believes that proper financial planning focuses on each individual’s circumstances and not products. Understanding and appreciating clients’ needs and objectives is a core principle in Seán P. Matthews Insurances.
Linda has been a part of SPM from 1986. Currently she oversees the accounts for SPM with prior experience in all aspects of the business. Linda is a Director of SPM and with Seán has played a key strategic role in the
success of the business.
Sinéad re-joined Seán P. Matthews Insurances in June 2018. She is a Qualified Financial Advisor and has previous experience in AIB and EBS with a strong background in Mortgages, Life and Pensions.
Sinéad looks after all Mortgages in SPM and her extensive knowledge of the industry helps clients through what can be considered a tedious process.
Darryl joined the insurance industry in 2016 and has a breath of experience in all things Personal and Commercial Insurance. Darryl achieved the CIP accreditation in 2024 and obtained both the Personal and Commercial APA accreditations in 2018 & 2020 respectively.
With previous experience in the AA and LHK, Darryl has joined the SPM team to help existing and new clients in all areas of Personal, Home & Car Insurance.
Colin joined Seán P. Matthews Insurances Ltd in February 2022 as the General Insurance Manager. Colin brings a wealth of knowledge to the business with over 20 years’ experience.
He specialises in all General Insurance, Financial Lines and Commercial Insurance. Colin is a Certified Insurance Practitioner and Qualified Financial Advisor.
Katie joined the insurance industry in 2014 when she started in the AA.
She achieved her CIP accreditation in 2018 and is a wealth of knowledge and all personal lines products.
Katie has previous experience in the AA, LHK & Quote me and has joined the SPM Insurance team to look after new and existing clients in all areas of home, car, van & travel insurance.
Niamh joined SPM in August 2024 working as a Life and Pensions Administrator. She is currently sitting her QFA Examinations.
With over 20 years of experience working and managing a Post Office Niamh has excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail which she brings to her role here in SPM.
